When you activate an Awesome Support plugin, you are offered the chance to opt-in to system statistics tracking.  When you volunteer this information, it helps us collect data on common configurations on which the product is used which helps guide us in our testing and development efforts.  Here is the data that we will collect from your site:

• Name of product (usually Awesome Support or Awesome Support: add-on name)
• Version of product that was initially activated
• Current Version of product
• Date of activation
• Date of last communication
• Theme name
• Theme version
• Parent theme (if any)
• Deactivation reason (if you provide one)
• Plugin options
• Name of site
• WordPress Version
• Site Language
• Text Direction (LTR, RTL)
• Character set
• Is the site a multi-site?
• List of active plugins
• List of inactive plugins
• Admin email address
• PHP Version
• Server type and OS (Apache, Windows etc)
• Installed Path Location

The email address is added to our email list IF you double-confirm your opt-in selection via the confirmation email we send to you.  It is also where we send you your incentive such as a discount code. This address is stored on our email list vendor servers.  Otherwise, this data is not shared with third parties and is stored on dedicated servers or virtual machines at our hosting provider where it is ONLY used internally for analysis. In particular, it is never used for 3rd party marketing, technical support or other similar purposes.

• What are the most popular themes being used with Awesome Support?
• What PHP versions should we be testing against?
• What percentage of installations are using RTL languages?
• What percentage of installations is using Multisite?

By asking and getting answers to these (and similar) questions we can make future versions of Awesome Support much better and more tailored to your needs.
